What is Included: Round-trip airfare, homestay with three meals daily, service project, cultural experiences, local transportation and insurance.
What is not Included: Passport and personal expenses.

A valid passport is necessary for travel to Belize. First time applicants for the passport is $135.
Program Description

Increase your awareness and understanding of cultural diversity and social justice in international counseling and educational settings. This is a faculty led study abroad experience which includes service learning activites, research and immersion experiences.

All students are required to enroll in HDSV 705: International Experience in Human Development & Services I and HDSV 755: International Experience in Human Development and Services II.
